2^nd Annual Poker Run: 5 October 2008

Post 73 hoisted its 2^nd Annual Poker Run and obtained over $500.00 for the Children’s Home and the Christmas Food Basket Program.

Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA)—1 Sep 2008

Jerry Lewis raised a record $65 million for the MDA in his annual Labor Day telethon, a benefit that also made a pitch for those inconvenienced by Hurricane Gustav. Our American Legion 73 members and friends help raise $1,429,728 during the OKC MDA telethon at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Del City Armed Forces Day—10 May 2008

The City of Del City presented its 23^rd Annual Armed Forces Day and Shriners Parade. It was celebrated as one of the largest in the State of Oklahoma. The parade’s patriotic theme allowed you to come out and show your support for the men and women serving our country in the military services.
